Read This Before Leaving a Comment

This website is part of a research project, intended to gain knowledge and understanding, for the site owners, of certain topics for an eventual publication. The understanding gained from the discussion of ideas may be used in publication, however, everything said in comment contributions remains the intellectual right of the contributor. No text from the comments will be quoted, cited, or copied without direct permission from the author of the comment. In these cases, we will either properly cite, or protect the identity of, the comment author in question, depending on their preference.

We do ask that you leave an email address at which you can be contacted, when you comment. Email addresses are visible to the site owners only, to be used for site-related contact purposes, and will not be shared with any other party for any reason. If a user posts a comment without an email address, this will be taken as full permission to quote said comment; and in such cases, the identity of the comment author will be protected, with an alias used in citation.

The protection of our users is of paramount importance to us, and we intend in all cases to protect the identities of our contributors. In cases where we ask permission to quote a user in a publication, that user will be asked if they wish their real name to be used in citation, or if they would prefer an alias be used. In every case regarding exposure of identity, we will adhere to the wishes of the user.
